Pair Of Dutch Empire Stained Wood, Gilt Bronze And Beveled Glass Mirrors

A fine pair of relatively large Empire style rectangular mirrors; the frames having a gilded bronze molding around the glass, and gilt rosettes on the top two sides; the mirrors are bevelled on all sides; there is a small stepped pediment at the top with further bronze moldings. The style is relatively simple French Empire and this pair are said to have been made in Holland.
