A wall mirror fitted to the engine fan blade from a Rolls Royce Avon jet engine, which powered the RAF Canberra Nuclear Bomber. Rolls Royce engines are complex and astonishingly well manufactured: this being one of a number of highly engineered jet fan blades, professionally stripped to the base metal and finished in chrome. A mirror of 42cm diameter has been attached to the central hub. A heavy statement piece and highly versatile. We date the engine blade to circa 1960s. Specification: mirror 42m diameter, total display 62cm.
