A contemporary echo of the 18th-century vanity-table mirror, the Vanity Mirror Collection (2024) by GamFratesi reconsiders how a reflective surface can function within a room. Wall-mounted panels adjust through brass hinges set against a warm walnut veneer frame, giving control over angle and therefore viewpoint. The single-panel version permits a 15° rotation, while the two- and three-panel versions feature 180° hinges that allow the panels to fold flat, concealing the mirror entirely when not in use. The result is a design that behaves as much as it reflects, shifting light and perspective as the panels move. Made in China.
