This piece is of the period. It was made in England between 1730-50. The drawers are veneered with a beautiful flaming mahogany and the edges are inlaid with satinwood. There are 6 lower drawers for concealed storage. The piece is authentic in its form with no restorations. It bears all the bells and whistles one would associate with a 250 year old piece of furniture. Its in good condition considering its age. Its has some minor veneer losses and some time associated dings, but the shelf is structurally sound. Consult pics for all imperfections.
