Broomstick Uno – Foldable Coat Stand

Broomstick Uno is a foldable coat rack made entirely from natural beechwood. Its design is based on repetition—slim wooden rods with a constant diameter, joined at top and bottom to create a stable structure with a simple, rhythmic presence. The form recalls a bundle of broom handles, just as the name suggests. Each upper rod opens outward to hold coats, scarves, or bags, and folds back in when not needed. Originally designed by Vico Magistretti in 1979 and reissued by Campeggi, this version references the original Tenorio coat rack from the Broomstick series. It’s light, compact, and honest in construction—nothing hidden, nothing overworked.
