A pair of two sconces originally installed on columns of the historic, temple-like Fox Theater which opened in Oakland, California in 1928. The Art Deco design, cast in solid bronze and gilded, conveys the front of an abstracted bird with outstretched wings. They are slightly curved and hover off of the backplate. The medium base (E26) socket is covered with a copper cap. Newly wired. 8” height x 17.5” length x 9.5” depth.
