Up for sale is a very rare antique nautical wall mount ships sconce on gimbal. It's cast out of solid brass, is very heavy, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The sconce is in the form of chestnuts with intricate bamboo arms and reticulated circular canopy. Its socket pivots back and forth on the gimbal for when waves would rock the boat. It is mounted with a ribbed clear glass shade and is mounted/ ready to hang. The sconce is in great condition and measures 13 1/2 inches long by 7 inches wide when laying longway.
