A shared love of industrial design inspired the Cast Sconce (2019) by Toronto-based designers Thomas Chung and Jordan Murphy. Its cast-aluminum shade and brushed- brass bar are informed by traditional plumb weights favored by stonemasons and carpenters. Emitting a soft, glare-free light, the dimmable sconce will add an engaging but quiet visual note to a variety of spaces - as a reading lamp by a bed, spotlight in an entry, or sconce over a console.
