Circa 1980 Spanish Revival-Inspired Dual Wrought Iron Sconces – A Pair

Chairish

$258

Excellent Pre-Owned Condition. I’ve had these beauties for over thirty years and alas no room to place them so they are seeking a great new home! Picked them up in Zacatecas Mexico in the 1980s and they’ve adorned a broad assortment of walls in all of our homes. Handcrafted from wrought iron; welded joints are tight; twisted iron adornments are welded tight, as well. Both are in excellent condition. Iron has a rust finish that has a little wear in a few spots that adds to the rustic look-and-feel. Each sconce has two arms and measures 14” x 12” x 4½” H/W/D apiece. The candleholder “plates” are 2½” diameter and will easily accommodate a pillar candle that is 5½” with a 2 to 2½” base (same for a round candle). Each sconce has two welded-on nail plates on the back for quick, easy placement. I’ve only used them indoors but they’d be great on a covered patio or screened in porch, and are perfect accents for a hallway, entryway or feature wall in your space. Thanks for looking!
