A gorgeous French sconce designed by Felix Agostini for Maison Arlus in the 1960s. Crafted from cast gilt bronze, this sconce features a striking three-arm silhouette meticulously designed in the form of stylized branches. The organic shape of the branches is accentuated by the lustrous, hammered finish of the gilt bronze, which beautifully catches the light, adding depth and texture. This sconce is complemented by truncated conical shades made of opaline glass, offering a soft, diffused light when illuminated. France, 1960s. Condition: Excellent overall vintage condition. Light patina to the gilt bronze that has naturally developed overtime. This sconce has been professionally rewired for U.S. use with three E12 sockets. Accepts three candelabra base light bulbs. Please note that this sconce does not have a backplate.
