The sconces consist of a brass frame secured to the wall with dowels and a large amber yellow murano glass leaf inserted into its housing. The leaf has a thick glass structure; due to its thickness, it almost looks like "submerged" glass. To create this structure, glassmakers heat several layers of glass together and repeatedly dip them into vessels of colored molten glass. Notice the meticulous attention to detail and precision with which they have been finished. Refinement and class, typical of the murano style, unique pieces that will remain precious forever.
