An elegant pair of wall sconces attributed to Mazzega, made in Italy during the 1970s. Each sconce features a gilded metal frame supporting a composition of hand-blown Murano glass sheets, with a delicate teardrop-shaped gradient of clear and white. The vertical arrangement of the glass pieces creates a sophisticated and sculptural effect, projecting a warm, enveloping light that enhances the artisanal quality characteristic of Murano glass. Each sconce is equipped with two E27 light sockets. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
