Large handcrafted murano glass on a brass base sconces from hillebrand leuchten, germany, circa 1960s. It consists of textured quality murano glass tubular shade on a brass frame. The design allows this light to be placed either vertically or horizontally. There is a discrete light switch on the bottom or side of the frame. The wall sconce needs three small edison balls (e-14) up to 40 watts each. Light bulbs are not included. It is possible to install this fixture in all countries (us, uk, europe, asia, australia.) very good original condition. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
