A beautiful pair of lamps made from murano glass and a solid heavy brass base, featuring an art nouveau motive. There are 16 hand-blown solid crystal glass flowers that adorn the lights. These glass flowers are first, hand-blown, hand-cut, then pressed into a mould to form the veins on the petals. Each flower is attached with a solid brass screw in the shape of a stamen, allowing the glass to be removed or replaced. There are 4 bulb holders for e14 lightbulbs. Both of the lamps are working and can be used as wall lights or as ceiling lights, as they have solid brass hooks for both, and produce a lovely soft light with reflections from the glass flowers. Ideal for a bedroom or to give a bit of hollywood style glamour to any living area. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
