SABINO A pair of 1925-1935 French art deco wall sconces by Marius Sabino. Nickel plated solid brass or bronze mounts hold slip shades in clear frosted molded-pressed glass. Beautiful modernist art déco style. I have two pairs available. The price is for one pair. All four shades are signed Sabino France and show the model number #5139. The signature is important since some 30 years ago worthless unsigned copies of this Sabino model were produced in the USA in high volumes. The old original Sabino ones are always signed. The sconces are 29,2 cm high 19,5 cm wide and 15 cm deep. That is 11,5 x 7,7 x 5,9 inches. They are in excellent condition. Some common insignificant chips on the rim where the shades glide in the metal mount. All hidden by the mounting. I renickeled the solid brass mounts. They are marked MS being the foundry marks of Marius Sabino. I rewired the wall lights with American candelabra base sockets. I have two pairs available. The price is for one pair.
