The design features a pyramidal composition of white opaline glass, divided into geometric panels framed by patinated gold metal. The effect is decorative and refined, with black glass triangles enhancing the effect. The opaline glass used—also known as lattimo glass—is characterized by a milky finish, achieved through the addition of opacifying substances (such as sodium phosphate, tin oxide, etc.).
