Pyramidal Wall Light In White Opaline Glass And Gold-Patinated Metal, 1970s

Chairish

$685

An elegant geometric-style wall sconce dating back to 1970s Italy. The square structure (36 x 36 cm) is 19 cm deep and features four internal light sources. The design features a pyramidal composition of white opaline glass, divided into geometric panels framed by patinated gold metal. The effect is decorative and refined, with black glass triangles enhancing the effect. The opaline glass used—also known as lattimo glass—is characterized by a milky finish, achieved through the addition of opacifying substances (such as sodium phosphate, tin oxide, etc.). This type of glass was first developed in Murano in the 16th century and is distinguished by its delicate hues and its ability to diffuse light softly and evenly. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
