A rare and atmospheric pair of wall lights, model 1937, designed by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte in the late 1950s — an iconic example of the designer’s refined use of glass, light, and architectural composition. Each sconce is composed of thick Fontana Arte glass panels, subtly tinted with a cool bluish tone, featuring polished edges and softly satin-finished inner faces. The glass elements are mounted on a blackened metal structure, held in place by patinated brass clips that introduce a warm counterpoint to the otherwise restrained palette.
