Two parallel U-shaped channels of densely packed raised ridges run from the top of the ceramic form down to the center, where the two paths converge. The glazed surface picks up light differently across each ridge, shifting in tone depending on the viewing angle, and two light sources set into the face add a warmth that brings out the variation in the glaze throughout.
