Taking cues from the shape of a leaf and the silhouette of a bird's wing span, the Ridge Sconce feels ancient and thoroughly modern. When viewed from the front the sconce has a central spine that is revealed to be more of a ridge when viewed from the side, pressing away from the wall like the ridges that reach up from the Hudson River to the Appalachians, known as the Catskill Mountains. The Ridge Sconce has two dimmable LED light sources that shoot light up and down toward the scene's points. Each piece is designed and hand-produced by Coil + Drift, a lauded New York's Catskill Mountains-based design studio known for its vividly three-dimensional and material-forward collections.
