A distinct and elegant wall sconce, with two light sources and ornamental details. In great vintage condition with original label intact on the backside. The company Sciolari Illuminazione Roma was founded by his father in 1892 and when his father died in 1949, Angelo Gaetano Sciolari took over control. His famous lighting designs found their way to America when Lightolier began to sell them to Hollywood jetset. His designs were very popular and have also been used in several famous movies. He also designed for other companies, like Boulanger and Stilnovo. In great vintage shape with some minor patination.
