The Stria Wall Sconce from SIN adds an artisanal weave to an otherwise straightforward contemporary creation. It uses a rectangular aluminum housing to support LED lamping, accompanied by a woven stoneware ceramic shade. Designed by Virginia Sin, the shade’s tactile construction is inspired by weaving traditions, creating a surface that obscures excess brightness, leaving small gaps for sparkles of direct light. The fixture sits close to the wall, with an ADA-compliant rating, while the rustic, woven ceramic adds a textured, tactile feel.
