A large wall-hanging modernist candle-holder of decorative wrought iron with black lacquer finish and two slabs of open-cast glass in a subtle taupe colour. It was made by Dantoft, Denmark, in the late 1960s or thereabouts. The glass is from the 'Arkitektur-Glas' series by Christer Sjögren for Lindshammar Glasbruk, Sweden, and was frequently incorporated by other Scandinavian manufacturers into their pieces. Bears its original, if faded, label to the verso. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
