A stunning mid-20th century gilt tole wall sconce sculpture in the Italian Regency style, featuring four large hand-formed daisy blossoms with white enamel petals and gold gilt centers, set among elaborately detailed golden gilt leaves and scrolling vines. Each flower houses a backlit light, creating a warm, dramatic glow when illuminated. It was my mother's favorite wall piece, even though it wasn't necessarily my style! She loved it, though. It's been in our family home for at least 54 years, and I'm ready to send it to a home that will love it as much as she did. It still lights up, and is certainly a statement piece. It's perfectly suited for an entryway, or a dining or living room accent wall. Construction is hand-wrought metal with original gilt finish and white enamel petal detailing. The piece measures approximately 36 inches in length by 18 inches wide, with petals extending approximately 5 inches from the wall. Powers via plug-in cord.
