According to the Japanese tradition, the year is divided into 24 periods and 72 kos (seasons), each one representing one of the small transitions that the Nature undergoes during a year. This theme represents the Geishi or “Midsummer” period, form July 2nd to 6th. The season here portrayed is: Hange shōzu.This piece is crafted with silk and cotton and is available as boiseries over a vertical panel measuring 135 x H 200 cm supported by a wood honeycomb structure.
