Square version available.The STRIPE wall mirror creates a fascinating graphic effect: the minimally edged high-gloss polished sheet metal reflects the room in two different directions. The mirror image is thus reflected in an abstract stripe pattern. Depending on the angle of view, the reflections double and seem to dissolve into the individual facets. Viewed frontally, the edge line is a precise geometric shape: a circle or oblong. Viewed from the side, the individual edges of equal width become visible. If you move around the room, the mirror images of the individual facets also change. The optional swivel mount (for the round version) enhances the visual effect: the mirror image appears to rotate in the mirror. The different sizes, the elongated version and the standing mirror allow for a variety of applications and combinations. Each size is also available in three different strip widths: “Thin, Regular and Bold”. The NEO/CRAFT label was founded by the Berlin-based designer Sebastian Scherer after he won the Lexus Design Award 2014 for his Iris lamp (2013). The debut collection, which consisted of ten products, was first presented at the imm cologne in January 2015 in what Wallpaper Magazine described as “one of the most impressive debuts in 2015.” Exhibitions at trade fairs in Milan and London followed this same year. Since then, Sebastian Scherer has worked as a designer and creative director in equal measure. The collection consists of his designs, but these can also undergo further development in the future through the input of other designers. The central element in his developmental process is the continual search for new creative possibilities with classical materials such as aluminum, steel, glass and wood.
