19th century gilt painted wardrobe cabinet. A very special Qing dynasty wedding cabinet elaborately decorated with fine and exceptional gilt painting. The lacquer can be referred to as having a snake like skin or (alligator-ing) this happens through age. There are three drawers inside behind the doors and two lower drawers outside, all with working locks. In very good condition. Completely usable for everyday life. A very special piece.
