L5

L5 is a free-standing washbasin made of leccese stone worked on a lathe and finished by hand.‎ The design is the work of the artist Luca Scacchetti, who takes the shape of an hourglass resting on the ground.‎ The water falls from above from a mixer that runs along the entire length of the sink and surmounts it from above, creating a cascade effect.‎ It features a metal band in the center, where the sink chokes in its hourglass shape.‎ Thanks to this design it turns out to be a decorative element of the bathroom as well as a real sink.‎
