The upholstery fabric on the seat is a brightly colored Ikat cotton material, replete with matching piping. There is double-paned Vienna braid on the back and sides, and is expertly inlaid at the edges. The wooden frame displays a pickled stain, and the wood is carved in rope form. On the front of each leg there is a stylized hand-carved tassel with a fringed bottom. The chair measures 28 inches deep, 29 inches wide, and 41 inches at its highest. It has a seat height of 21 inches, and an arm height of 24 inches.
