Very cool low swung wingback lounge chair made by Fritz Hansen in Copenhagen, Denmark. Great dramatic angles and proportions with carved wooden armrests and legs made of stained beech wood showing great grain and patina and just minor natural wear. Copper spring coils in both seat and armrests. The chair still has the handwritten ink label from the manufacturer stating the model number and a manufacturing date of June 1946. The fabric is showing wear and needs to get reupholstered.
