A Danish cabinetmaker wingback lounge chair produced in Denmark circa 1945–1955, newly upholstered in a sand-toned bouclé wool that pairs naturally with the chair’s sculptural silhouette and generous proportions. The form is substantial without appearing heavy. A tall, softly curved wingback rises above gently enveloping arms, while the backrest is divided into five restrained vertical channels that add rhythm and structure to the upholstery. The front legs are cylindrical in dark-stained beech, transitioning into squared rear legs — a construction detail frequently associated with higher-end Danish workshop production of the late 1940s and early 1950s.
