Early American Ladder Back Chair with Original Woven Reed Seat, wonderful original black paint with some rub marks in all the correct places, where more wear and tear occur, purchased from a private collection in Bridgehampton in 2019. early 19th C or Late 18th Century. sturdy chair but would be better as a decorative piece of American Furniture history.
