Early 19th century primitive ladder back chair with rope cord seat. Possibly original beautifully worn black painted frame with bare armrests. Very comfortable and stable for its age. Acquired from an interior designer / artists estate where they would use this to paint from. Some minor drips and splatters of paint can be seen.
