This set of two iconic design armchairs was created by ernst moeckl and siegfried mehl for horn collection. These striking pieces are from the early edition which was also presented at the furniture fair in cologne in 1972. the so-called 'kangaroo' chair which is also known as 'z-chair' was distributed by the west-german quality manufacturer horn, which had its products manufactured by the veb pck in schwedt, in the former gdr. the chairs are made from 'baydur' a progressive polyurethane-duromere material at the time, which was developed by bayer ag. they still feature the original silk matt finish. these sturdy chairs are very durabel and suitable for indoor as well as outdoor use, also the chairs are stackable.
