White Kangaroo Chair By Ernst Moeckl For Horn, 1960s

Chairish

$1,142

White Kangaroo chair with armrests designed by Ernst Moeckl for Horn Collection, West Germany in 1968. This chair is also called kangaroo chair or Z-chair due to the shape of the legs. These chairs were very progressive for the time due to their shape and use of materials that were modern for the time. They are made of Baydur (polyurethane-duromere), refined with high-quality DD Lacquer. The material is light, strong and durable. This chair is in original condition and from the early 1970s. Dimensions: h x w x d = 75 x 58 x 53 cm. The seat height is 42 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
