Imposing armrest chair from the Danish Onsild Møbelfabrik for Jutex based on a design by Arne Hovmand-Olsen from the 1950s. A delicate design with high quality materials and workmanship. What is special here is the assembly of the individual elements of the chair using spacers. The resulting joints and “air spaces” give this design a unique lightness. The contoured backrest is slightly inclined and mounted at a distance with fine brass rods. The concave front is covered with black faux leather. The back of the bowl is made of teak and shows a rich grain. The finely crafted seat shell is designed analogously to the backrest. The armrests consist of a continuous element that wraps around the backrest at a distance. The swing of the two ends goes slightly outwards again. The chair is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. The lower artificial leather upholstery was renewed.
