1920’s Single Deep Scallop Back Armchair. Unusual well-proportioned armchair from the early 20th Century. Covered in an old (if not original) character aubergine velvet. Original bobbin turned oak legs, beech and oak frame with original traditional upholstery. The armchair is a firm sit with a solid/fixed seat, we don’t think it had a loose cushion but it could have. We carefully select very original armchairs ensuring the fabrics and upholstery are in as good as condition as we can find. The upholstery is completely original and has been deep steam cleaned by our workshop team. Seat Height: 37cm Workshop Report: Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
