mid century scandinavian satin birch low open bookcase circa 1950. fine quality bookcase/cupboard from sweden, which has been made using a satin birch wood. rectangular shape and of a design that provides a low footprint for maximum storage, making it ideal for smaller spaces. moulded front edge, with 2 drawers directly below the top surface which are fitted with brass handles.  quarter veneered single door cupboard which is fitted with a single shelf.  main aperture for book and display items is fitted with a single adjustable shelf. fully restored and recently french polished in our workshop.  ready for everyday enjoyment.
