French oak sideboard buffet in the neogothic style. Adolphe de Beyne was a cabinetmaker from the North of France. After the Word War I he specialized in high-end furniture, of which this sideboard is one of the remarkable examples. On this buffet, the theme of the tree of life returns on the splashback above the top, on the main door and on the two lower doors. On each motif, roots and branches of the tree emerge from interlacings decorated with leaves and fruits: mainly grapes and vine leaves but also pine cones. Five doors and one drawer, wrought iron handles and locksmith. The finish of this piece of furniture has been completely redone using a tinted wax, in accordance with the original style of the piece of furniture. Good antique condition. 54 / 127 / 208 cm 108 kg
