A charming French Provincial buffet in the Louis XV taste, featuring arched and molded double doors, a reeded frieze, shapely scalloped apron, and characteristic cabriole front legs. Solid wood throughout with a paneled back and original interior shelf. Retains original iron escutcheon hardware with key. Finished in a later sky blue paint over an earlier white ground, now beautifully worn to reveal layers of history beneath. A highly decorative and functional piece with tremendous character.
