The 1979 LED Linear Suspension from Darmes brings minimalist purity to large indoor spaces with a repeating square housing motif. A collaboration with Montreal designer Will Choui, it draws inspiration from the Brutalist and Modernist architecture of the late 1970s. Straightforward, bold, and powerful, the design balances its architectural form with the potent performance of energy-efficient LED illuminators. Three modular units are arranged in a clean, linear layout, each contrasting soft, rounded corners with grid-style detailing. Four slim cables suspend the central module, while the larger fixture dispenses direct downlight across its environment.
