19th century swedish birch circular center table circa 1870. This Empire circular table, often known as a drum table due to its rotating capabilities, lends itself to be the perfect center table. Circular birch top with strung black border , fitted with 4 drawers, 2 deep and 2 short each with the same stringing and black shield shape key hole.  The top is pegged to the base and has free movement to rotate.  raised on a column and platform base and 4 beautifully carved lion's paw feet. Rich golden colour and patina. Expected restorations to the woodwork of the apron and base, ring mark to top surface.  Recently re-polished in our workshop and ready for everyday use.
