Wonderful old reproduction of an Early American chair with woven rush seat. The black paint has scrapes mostly around the legs and feet while the rush seat shows the wear of a 65 year old piece of used furniture. Believe it is made of Maple because it was purchased from same manufacturer of a Deacon spindle bench. I was about 7 years old and remember the day my parents bought it in the early 60's and lived thru an active family's life.
