Kling Furniture Company was a family business between 1911 and 1962 in New York. In 1962, the family sold the company to Ethan Allen Inc. Ethan Allen produced “ Kling Colonial” and Kling branded furniture from 1962 into the 1990s. This Kling branded chair is signed on the back in the ornate style of the iconic Hitchcock stencil design.
