Ornate late 19th C rattan and wicker chair from Heywood Brothers, Wakefield or Heywood Bros. Wakefield. Art nouveau influenced rattan and wood frame wrapped in split cane and abundantly decorated with bent rattan with curls and knobs. It has a tightly caned seat in wood frame. MADE late 19th C. Measures 18" x 20" x 42" tall. Good antique condition. There are pieces of decorative rattan missing from top of the left leg and is ome of the cane is loose on the top rail—see last photos. Some scuffs and wear but no breaks, cracks, or other damage.
