The molded seat was the starting point for this chair. This plywood shell is meant to be upholstered and therefore not perfect. This imperfection, the cracks and overlapping pieces of veneer are shown instead of covered up. It is upholstered with FEBRIK textiles. Tom Frencken is known for his characteristic and poetic work in which simplicity, comfort, quality and durability are very important. The urge to create and his wide interest result in a great diversity of products. Unique pieces of furniture, drawings, jewelry, objects, as well as small serial productions are hand made in his own studio.
