Mid-Century Shell Chair By František Jirák, 1960s

This timeless chair was designed by Frantisek Jirak in the mid-1960s when a lot of Czechoslovakian designers expressed their futuristic ideas. This shell chair has a fiberglass shell seat upholstered in green upholstery. The base is made of wood. It is very strong and stabile. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
