This is a late 19th century fancy ladies white wicker chair made by the Wakefield Rattan Co. It is #3232 according to the label, which is intact. See images. This chair has lots of bells and whistles-cane seat, bird cage designs on the back side rails, tightly woven star caned seat back and looped edge ( very rare to find this in good condition) on the top of the seat back. It retains its original brass casters. The chair is painted white and in excellent stable condition. This unique chair has been well taken care of for more than 120 years.
