Fabulous vintage c.1940's/50's rattan and wrought iron fish form chaise lounge, attributed to Lina Zervudachi for Elsa Schiaparelli. Originally designed in 1935 for the grand opening of Schiaparelli Gallery at 21 Place Vendôme, Paris. It measures 81" in length, 25 1/2" wide and 26" tall, with a seat height of approx. 14". It is in good overall condition, as shown in the photographs, with age appropriate wear throughout. The rattan caning on the seat portions is all intact and in good condition. The very tail end of the piece has some loss to the wrapping as shown and discoloration from the decades. This could be restored if you were so inclined. The base is solid wrought iron and in very good condition. Disassembles for transport if needed.
