Church Chandelier

The Church Chandelier from Ravenhill Studio was initially designed to illuminate Rudolph Schindler's Bethlehem Baptist Church in Los Angeles, reflecting his "Space Architecture" philosophy, which integrates structure, climate, light, and mood. These fixtures are crafted to direct light upward and outward rather than downward, emphasizing illumination as part of the design. Featuring a three-part axis of symmetry, the design balances form and function. Exposed globe bulbs are housed in spun aluminum sockets connected to rods with precisely machined collars for a refined, modern aesthetic.
