Inspired by the kinetic movement of its namesake ballet, Coppélia is Helsinki-based Japanese designer Arihiro Miyake’s gorgeous take on a chandelier. The story of a beautiful mechanical doll who appears to magically come to life in the dance underpins the graceful steel-wire structure aglow with dozens of LED lights that also transports the electric current along its slender lines. Like a graceful tutu overhead, the fixture’s soft radiance lends a romantic atmosphere to any interior.
